FAQs
H/AIR.001.UV has been conceived and designed to be easy and quick to install! In just 7 simple steps, you will have your device ready to use. See here how easy it is to mount it.
H/AIR.001.UV is compatible with all the main fan coil models on the market equipped with a single-phase asynchronous motor. Check here the minimum standard installation dimensions and its easy setup.
Hexafan’s tested technology guarantees continuous sanitization, allowing people to enjoy constantly sanitized air in the treated environment: in fact, H/AIR.001.UV has no harmful emissions to health or the environment, such as formaldehyde or ozone. Sanitization can therefore be carried out while people are inside the sanitized room, guaranteeing a constant and effective action.
H/AIR.001.UV does not require any ordinary maintenance except for replacement at the end of its life. It is also possible to monitor its operating status constantly via IOT.
The Hepa filter can have a reduced efficiency on the bioaerosol due to the coalescence effect of the droplets.* It needs to be integrated with UV-C sanitization to ensure its effectiveness and not increase the pathogen’s diffusivity through the droplets’ parceling.
By creating high ventilation in indoor environments, there is a risk of favoring the contagion of people in the direction of the airflow. A “crossed” ventilation, i.e., a combined action given by recirculation and a ventilation technology with sanitization, has been shown* to be more effective in preventing the spread of pathogens, thanks to the integrated germicidal action.

Disinfectant products have harmful effects* on the environment and health (due to their intensive use). Therefore, using a sanitizing device that uses technology without harmful emissions is good practice. The use of chemical disinfectants has, in fact, effects of high environmental toxicity. By polluting the water, they are toxic to aquatic and marine organisms and with a high degree of persistence. These polluted waters will also affect the food chain if used in agriculture. Furthermore, the health effects are related to toxicity to the respiratory tract and skin, the possibility of burns or injuries to the cornea, or cause accidental poisoning, especially in children.
