H/AIR.001.UV uses advanced technology with double sanitizing action: UV-C irradiation + Photocatalytic Oxidation
The combined action exploits the UV-C rays’ activity for their intrinsic sanitizing nature and the activation action that the same UV-C rays exert on the catalyst structure.
UV-C LED irradiation has a proven germicidal action as it inactivates microorganisms by acting on their genetics.
Being irradiated by the UV-C LED light, the catalyst structure originates a natural photocatalytic oxidation process. The light energy is absorbed by the alloy of noble metals and used to generate active free radicals.
Favored by the honeycomb shape of the catalysts, the turbulent airflow inside the device maximizes the free radicals’ action, favoring contact and exposure with the air in transit.
This technology guarantees continuous sanitization, allowing people to enjoy constantly sanitized air and to stay in the room while the sanitization is active.
And without harmful emissions, such as formaldehyde or ozone.
